LIZARDS
Tupinambis
merianae
The
black and white tegu, an active inhabitant of temperate areas in South
America. They can run on the hind legs, and swim very well. We are beggining
to breed them, and the babies grow quickly. They enjoy eating sweet fruits
as well as animal foods. If you plan on keeping a group, be aware there
is a pecking order and some animals will feed first. Very intelligent lizards!
